One Big Rock started out as an experiment with a Game theory mechanic, basically the idea was creating a "game" were players compete against each other but benefit from working together on occasion, two themes came to mind, one being the Mountaineering sport. the Yeti stone was the initial draft and One Big Rock is growing currently as a hopefully more enjoyable game experience.

Ledge tiles. (currently indicated with a L )
On ledge tiles you cant do anything on your own, two people need to pass trough a ledge together helping each other up.
As long as you are on the ledge you can only play a card if another player is on the ledge.
If there are no other players left on this ledge's board at the end of the turn you can move 1 square up.

Cave tiles. (currently indicated with a C )
On cave tiles you are immune for both the angry mother yeti and the rock throwing pup.

Big angry mother yeti.
the mother yeti comes into play the turn after the first player has left the floor tile.
every turn the mother yeti climbs higher, when there are only players in the first section the yeti climbs 1 square up at a time.
when there are players in the second section she climbs 2 squares at a time and when players are in the last section she climbs 4 squares at a time.
when the mother yeti is on the same horizontal row as a player (or players) his/their power is reduced to 1 and the yeti is put back 1 row down.
Alternatively if a player's move ends on the same horizontal line as the mother yeti, the same happens.
note : you can pass the horizontal line without hazard!

the Rock throwing Yeti pups. (currently optional, I dont know if it really adds something.)
On the top of each mountain section you see numbers, every turn after all actions, roll 1d6, this determines were the pup throws
a rock, the first player in this row will be hit by the rock and choose to loose 3 power and fallback none, loose 2 power and fallback 1
or loose 1 power and fallback 2 squares, he can move over other players this way, but he cant end up on another player's tile.
